Valentine day is here!
Now that you defined what to crochet as a present for your beloved one in this post, now you can concentrate on decorations!
Here following you’ll find the best free Valentine’s heart crochet patterns
How to use them?!
- Create many hearths, sew the one after the other and build a Valentine’s garland to decorate your house. Or a shop!
- Decoration for bags, hats, scarves…
- Glue the heart on a greeting card
- Make two of them, sew them together and fill this pocket with a freshener, or some lavender, or add some essential oil to the stuffing
- Decorate your Valentine gift
- Harden them a little and hang them around your house (or shop), especially if your hearts are colorful!
Let’s start with a Pop-up Heart!
It’s a very puffy and pointed heart, a real comic- amigurumi pattern!
The only stitch used is the SC, with some increase and decrease. It will be important to work tightly, and to stiff firmly so that the hearth will have a great pop-up effect.
With a 3,5mm hook you will obtain a 10cm heart.
But you can play with different yarn and hooks, and make many hearts in different sizes!
You will have the chance to learn also the Double Ring (DR). This is a technique to avoid holes in the beginning of your work, It is like the magic ring, but you’ll wrap yarn twice around your finger. Genius!

Granny Sweet Heart Pattern
The idea behind Nancy’s hearts is to have the possibility to use many colors, and to use as a basis the granny square. Perfect with any kind of yarn, you can really fill your world with colorful hearts!

Even if I love colorful patterns, the version I love most of this heart is the plain white, I find it very elegant
This pattern is perfect if you would like to create a little bag, or a perfume holder for your drawer!
